In the spring and fall I usually go in and scrub the place top to bottom, give it a little more attention then is possible on high season turnover days. 

While I didn't scrub everything from floor to ceiling, I left the apartment reasonably clean and I took issue with many of the property manager's charges.I sent them a letter highlighting my issues with the charges and a check for $250.I never heard back.

(Another HUGE time saver when doing big mailers.)I can pull the data, download, scrub, and get a mail-merge doc to my printer on a Sunday afternoon while the kids are playing out back.
