As for how much I’d put down, it typically ranges from $0 to $100K, depending on what I’m bringing to the table or what my partners are contributing.

If you can't find people to live in the house, that's the risk you have to take.

More critical to your success will be putting together a team and finding good deals.

I’m sure there are app designers out there who’d do an amazing job getting a great BP app put together. 

I typically put things in a lost and found (also in my garage) unless they are looking for it.

Is there a way to shift who is in what room to put the family closer to the living area and kitchen and the other tenants further away so that the sound isn't as bad.

I'm an investor and agent in Winnipeg so I can confidently say that there is very little triplex/fourplex inventory and the parts of the city that do have that are in not great areas...duplexes are much more viable but usually your cashflow will put you at a point where you are living for fairly cheap, but not for free.

I always double-check my work—and ensure that those working for me are thoroughly trained to do the same—especially in areas where high risks or significant consequences are at stake, such as in matters of high materiality.
