It is state specific, in some it is an ejection order, or writ of possession, in some it is eviction......either way, they have rights as they are occupants, whether they were tenants or previous owners.

I have also seen sellers not understand the process and list their home with an agent to sell, but technically the home has already been foreclosed on but they haven't taken possession yet.
