If you can acquire a home warranty to cover major items that could insulate you.

This obviously insulates them from CapEx, volatility of the rental pool, etc.  

If they don't work you can rig something that will preclude the insulation from sagging falling.

We are just removing the walls, adding new outlets on new circuits, replumbing in the same place, and updating with blown insulation.
