Check all the lenders in your state who have closed these loans my looking at the fha 203k endorsement list.

You will also want to call your insurance company and see if they have a daycare endorsement.

Many have endorsed programs for Professional (E&O).

They got some big name investors endorsing this but would like to hear from other's advice and experience. 

And is it common to have a personal endorsement in order to protect an LLC owner personally - especially if the owner will be actively involved in the remodeling process (LLC comprised of self & spouse with no employees - only independent contractors)?

You want to find an experienced renovation lender that specializes in loans like the 203k.As mentioned above, HUD keeps record of every lender that endorses 203k loans each month.

There's possibly additional endorsements as well.
