It looks like the the prior responses were from people owning single family or duplexes,but in bigger buildings it is very uncommon to have hookups in each apartment.but the problems can be several, one of them, if they put the drain in the sink in scared that the soap etc.

Plan A is always to try to do a vanilla Fannie loan, Plan D is HML... these "alternative documentation" loans occupy the space comprising plans B through C, and that's where the rate/terms fall too.
