It's astronomical rise in cost of living is relatively recent, the past 15-20 years.  

My property manager sent their contractor that gave me an astronomical bid.

@Brad Larsen, I owned a branch company that managed about 70 vacation rentals and it's a different world from managing long-term.The amount of work required is astronomically higher.

These seemingly random and frequent investigations by code enforcement who's sole job is to "find something wrong" is going to create astronomical costs that people who are owner occupied in their homes would not even think is an issue.

Some/many areas in TX/FL have astronomical insurance, multiples of their supposed "high taxes" --- they really should come to NJ those wimps :). 

I think the cost was astronomical.

The home prices in McCall and Sun Valley have been driven to astronomical levels. 

It would take some really savvy investing to make any money purchasing single units and trying to get a great cash flow while paying those astronomical maintenance dues.

So I'm thinking if I go 12 months without paying that, my owing will be astronomical.
