@Josh GoffFrom our perspective here in China, we see that the volatility of the China stock market is creating more interest in the US real estate market.As such, we see more positive effects than negative.  

A lot probably depends on your tolerance for risk and volatility of returns during your intended hold period.  

It also shows some counties are much more volatile compared with others.

However, I would wait on this until the market volatility of the stock market dies down.

The quality/consistency/volatility of the cash flow matter as much (more IMO) than the quantity.

The volatility of the market combined with the astronomical costs of marketing that it takes to create leads leaves many people bankrupt and forces even the most successful of those in this field to find easier ways to make money in order to supplement, and in some cases replace, their sporadic income that is pretty standard among wholesalers and creative investment specialists. 

As opposed to things like stocks and real estate where you have underlying people and companies that control the cash flow and although the prices are volatile the underlying value of each of those assets is based on how much revenue they collect.

Now, there would be market volatility factored into setting the premium: if we knew the 5%/annum increase is a sure thing over the next two years our option could be said to have a time value of $5,000.00.
