Lots of people like to bash Chicago and say it's super violent.

For me personally, I'm looking for no evictions within 10 years and no violent crimes, income 3x rent, good references from previous landlords, stable and verifiable job history, good payment history on credit report and no recent collections. 

You can check the Baltimore Sun crime map yourself for the last couple years and check for shootings and homicides to get a feel of just how violent the area is and form your own opinion.

Very high violent crime in Detroit. 

Criminal background: No violent felonies within the last 7 years.

Heavy violent crime and Rape areas. 

@Tony GaultneyProbably not a great plan, because here in Minneapolis on lake street, a lot of the businesses have been burned down due to the violent riots and even apartment complexes have been destroyed leaving people homeless.

At the same time Granbury violent crime index is lower than Texas and National indexes.

Will, You are a Saint for having not committed any violent crimes over this situation.
