I also saw somewhere that some social media sites like Facebook and Twitter use an intermediary redirect from their HTTPS site to HTTP to your HTTP site so that you would see the referral info and they would essentially get credit for sending you the traffic.  

I have personal Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram, (and now on Bigger Pockets).

And this is not Twitter.

I also syndicate those blog posts to Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, and other social media sites, which helps drive traffic to my page.  

Wordpress has similar tools to automatically publish to twitter and facebook.

I've also started looking at applicant's public social media profile(s) including facebook, twitter, instagram etc.

David,Twitter is a useless program in my opinion.

They all have squeeze pages, ability to post your new listing to facebook or twitter, etc etc... seems like they are all pretty similar.

It was a sham, to say the least.If I could go back and talk to myself when I 1st got licensed, I would whisper the word craigslist in my ear...Build your online presence through creating a blog, Twitter, Facebook page, and others and update them regularly.

When it comes to marketing with zero budget, you absolutely can't beat Facebook, Twitter and a regularly updated blog.
