I read somewhere that in Germany you open a savings account when you turn into an adult specifically for your down payment on a house.

I've found some tax law surrounding investors from the UK, Canada, Germany, and Asia but nothing on Greece specifically. 

I am living in Germany for the next two years and would like to learn more about analyzing deals.

Since that post, I actually connected with someone who lives in the city I currently reside, Berlin, Germany, and we have already met to connect over lunch!

I live in Germany and am thinking about getting started in the States.

It is in desperate need of a new roof, so my in-laws (who just sold their house to move in) wanted to just pay for a new one for 30,000 €  (we live in Hamburg, Germany).But what if we combined our capital for a down payment on a loan and rehabbed this house into a fully functioning modern triplex. 

Any investor from Germany here OR investors who were originally from Germany and now live in the US?

And this is global: Germany 5.3%, India 7.6%, Mexico 7.3%, Brazil 10%, Russia 8.4% (and then the catastrophic inflation in Turkey 36% and Argentina 51%)!

And we even have folks from other countries (Uwe from Germany comes to mind, but there are others).But anybody posting a question should certainly state the location where the property is located.
