I'm wondering how to best go about getting into real estate.

Really the person that is going into the flipping game should know the market very well to do these comps on their own, and back it up by asking their trusted real estate agent/professional for confirmation.

Hi Angela,Your tech background can help you evaluate the deals but I fear that you don't have a comprehensive plan of what you want to do with investment real estate.  

I have REPS by actively and materially participating in my rental property portfolio, and also work as a real estate broker full time (1099 collecting commissions through a single member/purpose LLC) from buildings I sell.My losses from my rental properties (LLC #A) largely offset any federal and state taxes from my brokerage business (LLC #B).

Considering the OKC market's rental income potential and the favorable economic and real estate trends in Oklahoma City, it represents a promising investment opportunity for real estate investors seeking stable returns and potential appreciation. 

The real pool season is 3-4 months, which also sways my opinion. 

I have since passed my Real Estate License Exam and plan to be more active in the forums.
