Personally, I'm betting my own money on it, looking for investments now that our inventory has creeped up to about 4 months supply, which is still pretty low compared to most markets.  

You bet if we get a second term with Biden, if he remains, the chances of China tapping on Taiwan's door is imminent. 

And I do agree that with professional sports, income is not stable unless you are at the highest levels and you get millions of dollars in a contract that is fixed on a given amount of years.  

I agree that networking is your best bet and aligning with a mentor is a great idea.

I'd bet there are thousands of people out there willing to do it.And another option, which you already mentioned, is a VA.
