It literally takes less than 10 minutes to set up free online rent payment at one of the several who offer it for nothing, and another 10 minutes to set up accounts such as Square or Stripe to collect via credit cards and other electronic payments.

It's expensive, but this might be the time to tap those "get cash fast" offers from your credit cards.

You could also use to purchase several properties, pay down credit card debt or treat yourself a nice vacation.

Moving forward, in early 2020 I came across a Vacasa card after staying at a Vacasa managed property in Kauai.

The property was being managed – 500 storage units - on 3x5 cards!!

I also tried setting up more conventional management services for rent collection and got a huge amount of pushback that the tenants didn’t know the App and didn’t want to put personal information or bank account/credit cards into some App they’d never heard of.
