It sounds like you have actually really enjoyed the landlord process which is not always typical, but I am curious...would you rather spend more time with your family or spend your time figuring out how to make more money vs. managing the properties?

The process went smoothly, and I’m happy I got a tenant so fast, but the high supply of new builds in the area makes me nervous.

But the IRS allows this deduction to both of us, due to them taking shortcuts in their auditing process.
