I used to weight 270+ lbs of complete chunk, and one day was just fed up with it.

Assign weights to each comp, with the comps with the least number of adjustments getting the most weight. 

Well unfortunately I tackle weight loss, like you tackle real estate investing.  

I tend to give more weight to the former than the latter.

He’s worth his weight in gold and I wouldn’t risk our relationship by offering him a “Bonus” threatening him with a timeline.

I don't know if this will make you feel any better but even if the roof pancakes flat the interior and exterior walls should support that weight, even though (of course) the house will be totally uninhabitable until the entire roof structure is rebuilt.

Thanks for sharing it.While not exactly the same, I have had trouble with local building department pushing their weight around. 

Anything you can legally do to help ensure the inside and outside of the facility is in top shape, only lessens your liability/risks.
