I'm in the SF bay area for the rental arbitrage where the rents fly off the shelf, rental market is hot and difficult because it's so easy to find tenants.You can try an alternative root of increasing volume by just calling and letting them know what you planned to do before making the trip.

If you want to keep the condo after renovation, but it's non-warrantable, your financing options infinitely shrink (as does your ability to sell down the road).Not impossible mind you, just a smaller set of lenders, both hard money and portfolio that will finance your project.
