My biggest suggestion would be to find some local meetups (https://www.biggerpockets.com/forums/521-real-estate-events-...) and introduce yourself to the host. 

I have looked up building companies in the area, joined Facebook groups, posted on Linked In, searching the MLS, and have a networking event coming up. 

Not necessarily hard times, but more commonly life events.

@Declan KasterOur podcast and books and events allowed us to become thought leaders in multifamily and brokers started sending us deals.

I work for a DC-based fractional investment startup and would love to connect with potential investors at events to discuss our company and offering!

I was surprised at the number of events here that bring in people from out of town which is why I’m curious about it. 

Offer to sit open houses for agents (you can do this through your state Workplace group), attend eXp’s virtual and live training & networking events and of course work with your Mentor who should be able to best guide you.  

However, if you're using a fintech app that isn't a bank itself, your deposits may not be covered by such insurance schemes, leaving you vulnerable in the event of insolvency or other financial crises.3.

I'm not seeing as many real estate networking events anywhere in Michigan.
