Issue: water is leaking through the joint of boiler/water heater exhaust pipes and the Chimney in the concrete wall in the basement.one contractor gave me the job detail and a quote of $1200 to fix the issue as follows:1.

No exhaust to the outside.  

If you are above garage there will be exhaust fumes coming in which will have to be prevented by you or the HOA.

But my tenants are pipefitters (they can change a hot water tank), boilermakers (can change a hot water tank with their eyes closed), electricians (can replace a fuse box with a breaker box), electrical crews (can wire a 2 story house for cable tv), scaffold builders (can trim a tree with a pole saw), welders (can replace the factory exhaust with a custom stainless steel exhaust on a riding mower), construction foreman (can add a bathroom counter and vanity).

@Dan Hoehn never said if he had an exhaust fan. 

I've exhausted those options, and landed at HML.

Truly the most mentally and physically exhausting job I have ever had.
