Small but great read.2) The One Thing by Gary Keller - I'm a fan of simple and this books helps sort that out and get you focused on what matters. 3) And if you're an avid reader/learner, BP put together a great list awhile back - The 21 Best Real Estate books. 

The problem was for me is that I am a visual learner so going over things over the phone didn't work, also everything he told me was the stuff i knew.

But I am a quick learner so maybe after watching a few projects I can test the waters myself?

if you're a self starter and learner then online will be fine.

Hi Kerric,Maybe land value less scrape off cost, but did you ever see the Tom Hanks movie Money pit.One issue after another, all unpredictable.If it's a labor of love and you have the expendable money that's different than an "Investment Decision".Based on the fact you have to ask about the decision, taking on this building might be like someone with a learners permit asking to drive in NASCAR.

I'm a motivated learner and soak things in like a sponge.
