New To Bigger Pockets, and new to REI

Hey BP Community,

Is there anyone in The Gouldsboro, Scranton/WilkesBarre, Area? I Currently Reside in Gouldsboro, PA with my family, and I would like to start building my Real Estate Portfolio. I have been reading and listening to podcasts. but i still have not found any info on how i can find a lender that will help me to buy my first investment property. i have seen a few homes in a few different areas that have a lot of potential. My Credit Score isn't where it needs to be i'm around 580 but my dad is at 690 and i want to start flipping, all i need is to get in on one, is there anyone here in NEPA that would be willing to take me under your wing??? I am a HARD WORKER, and a FAST LEARNER. I have a background in Electronics, i also know a little bit about Electrical Wiring and a Little bit about Carpentry and a Little Bit About Plumbing., I have experience in CCTV, Computer Repair, I would be willing to Barter if possible. i am not looking for a hand out lets make some money together.
