The proverb of old says "Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who makes his ways crooked will be found out", it is as applicable today as it was thousands of years ago.I think Brian is correct, the reason many get in trouble because they read all of the misinformation on the web, there are some yea-sayers out-there (even here on BP, but most of the times they get corrected) who will tell you "yes, you can do this" and lead others into trouble.

Honesty and integrity is what's important to me.Good idea to start looking while rates are low.Good luck !!!

Handling situations with grace, professionalism, and integrity even though the other party may not will still rest well with you because you know you went about it the right way. 

Have a foundation in honesty, transparency, and integrity.  

When I was investing I was highly vertically integrated and was oriented towards doing volume so I could work with a pretty small equity %.

I have no concerns about her integrity and ability to pay, I am concerned though about the financials and wonder if I should move forward.

Here's my advice to you, get your license and do business honestly, with integrity, it is never the wrong thing to do. 

And if your intent was never to do that, then you need a serious integrity check and it could come back to haunt you.
