As a parent, I simply don't have time to sit and read, and when I have time, I'm too exhausted to let the information sink in.

Instead of going back and retaking the test, I let time go by and exhausted the time period to take the test again.

In the long term this has always been true but short-term has various cycles and you must be able to withstand any short-term value decline.  

While this is at least something, I just want to make sure that I'm maximizing my current cash reserves before exhausting it on a single option which provides a low amount of cash flow.So I'm just trying to work through all of this and determine what the best course of action is with respect to making progress at a reasonable pace in my market.

It is going to be exhausting, nerve wrecking, and extremely uncomfortable for you and your family (especially the living in a small apartment while waiting for the house to be ready).

We always recommend exhausting that avenue first to save everyone some time, but in the scenario you described above, you can't (for at least 2 years), so this is your next best alternative; if you're going to do anything.Stephanie
