I used to paint apartments in that area with my brother for spare cash and we would have to bring an extra guy to watch the truck.

I lived in the 5th ward for two years after college as it was affordable...my truck was vandalized every six months, and I was in the nice south of I-10 area.I own several rentals in the Houston and larger metro area now - none are in the 5th ward.

If they don't like my prices, they could switch to the "2 guys with truck and tools".

So today I got in my car with an almost empty gas tank, I put my eBay business on hold because I needed to burn a bridge where I had to go out there and find properties, not just "oh it would be nice to find a property or two" but I had to have a burning desire and I told myself, "I have no money in my account, my truck is almost on empty, but I will will find at least properties that I can work with, I have to."

The caveat is that the interest monster eats every single month!  

Claiming a truck is "Truck of the Year' by Motor trend, allows me to at least evaluated Motor trend's basis for making that decision.

If your city has a Concrete Vacuum truck,  then it will pull everything out of the house of that size in four hours.

I am a 31 year who has a trucking /oilfield company who is looking to cachet and go full real estate.

IMO, timing does not matter, they will just have to deal with the noise of plow trucks backing up at whatever time it happens, you can't make everyone happy all the time.

He told me that this particular property is not a cash flow monster but it is getting him cash flow.
