He does have a couple half siblings, but they are in another country and not in frequent contact with his parents, so from their perspective all they would see is that the parents are living in an investment property that we own, and they are paying rent.

i had baselane and shut it down. there was issue getting my money out and there is absolutely no customer service. i loved the idea they had and the platform analytics they have but from a banking perspective i would not put any money there.

I have been investor for the last 9 years in Miami and working full time as realtor now and I would not recommend getting into wholesale fresh: get first some experience, get to know the market extremely well, and then you will know when to start wholesaling too!

Find 3rd party ways to verify the owner and employment as described. it would be very odd to have both an employer and landlord in two different states thousands of miles away that share an area code with the perspective tenant that is not in the market the home market of the PM or the employer.
