I chose to invest most of those gains into a trucking company due to the lack of patience at the time and my 10 year experience being a tractor trailer w-2 driver.

Both options have pros and cons, and the right choice depends on your lifestyle, experience, and long-term goals.

This is a hard one for people to work with since a lot of investors that do not have a lot of experience do not want to get a deal, not know the full rehab, and fear that they will lose the deal/EMD. 

I doubt I would hand the whole thing over to a developer, as I'm inclined to use the experience as a stepping stone in my career. 

If so what was the experience like.Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have prior experience to operating the rehab credit contingency to avoid the seasoning period?

The other is Rick H (https://www.biggerpockets.com/users/rtpg1) he's also commented on quite a few title issue/ AP/messy deal threads over the years and has quite a bit of experience.
