I've always been interested in real estate especially in apartment complexes.

Most agents don't want to run around looking at 50-80K houses that need significant rehab because they are complex sales that take a ton of time.  

I've been watching a lot of videos, listening to podcasts, and reading books to educate us on real estate investing.We are in the process of seeking an agent as well as mentorship from seasoned professionals to navigate the complexities of the market today.

If this was a large apartment complex do you think they would just let a tenant move and not pursue collecting the money owed?

I personally wouldn't do that although I'm aware I would "cash flow" more on paper if I bought an apartment complex or multiple SFH/duplexes OOS vs keeping my Bay Area SFH rental.

So I suggest people DON't run out and start acquiring oil stocks at random, it's a complex situation.
