Rochester / Buffalo, NY Market

Hello everyone,

I’m currently living overseas and just getting started with real estate investing. I’m particularly interested in the fix and flip strategy and have a budget of around $130,000.

What are your insights on Rochester or Buffalo, NY? Are these good markets for fix and flip transactions within my budget nowadays?

Additionally, should I consider tax implications, given New York’s reputation for high taxes?

Any insight would be welcome!
