I initially felt I should use ceramic tile in the bathrooms for the modern look but understand it's harder to install.

My tenant has a masters degree in Art and enjoys creating ceramics.

i like the diversity between both  doubled ideas - chicken wire concrete pan vs showercurtain against building, and gravel under teak wood vs poured concrete molded by dry mix pan then finished with ceramic floor tiles <--- most likely will go with the lattermost, thxxx!

Ceramic wood looking tile in a different color and pattern would look good.

I'm just worried  that it has soaked through the grout to the concrete underneath the ceramic and that the smell will return over time,and how toxic is it?

Is vinyl sheet flooring good enough or do you need higher quality allure or even fancy ceramic tile.

You're in construction, so consider adding some things like ceramic and glass tile back splashes, ceramic floors, ceramic baths with nice towel holders and light fixtures.
