I meet them for lunch, go to birthday parties and socialize on a regular basis.

Would we send that to his home....or flowers or a plant to the hospital?

I chose to use this bright flower.

A couple flower beds maybe, some ornamental bushes/trees/plants, mulch to bring contrast, maybe even a very short picket fence if it fits well.

That and I want to spruce up the front more...maybe add some flowers or do something to give it a bit more curb appeal.

Budget a couple hundred dollars for flowers, shrubs, etc to spruce up the place and make it look "pretty".

Ask too at the C-store, gas station, flower shop, what ever businesses there are.
