I've heard that quitclaiming to your LLC is not much liability protection and it certainly isn't anonymous.LLCs are good for liability protection, but any lawyer worth his salt can hunt down the owner of any LLC.

Not an attorney so take what I have to say with a grain of salt. to me that sounds like they limit the number of properties you can rent out in that neighborhood, probably with the goal of limiting major companies coming in and buying everything to rent out.
