You probably have non-profits in your area that offer life skills classes, your literacy council should have personal finance courses. 

Since we now have Provincial sub-forums on BP, I am going to suggest we collapse them as follows:- Atlantic Canada - Québec- Ontario- Prairies & the North- British Columbia My argument for the collapse is there are not enough active BP members in the Maritime/Atlantic Provinces, Prairies and, certainly not, the Territories to warrant individual provincial/territorial forums.

I know about the Housing Council but most of the people who use their listings are on DSS/Sec. 8 and i am not willing to rent to that group.  

My professional associations and certifications include Atlanta Board of Realtors, Leadership Council for Keller Williams Realty, CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist) and CFIS (Certified Foreign Investor Specialist) as well as being a member of KWGPS (Keller Williams Realty Global Property Specialist).

You will also want to know if any improvement on that lot need to have a city council approval or if your neighbors will have any right to say anything about the kind of improvements you can make legally on that lot like how high the building can be etc. 

Now if we were doing a Mello Roos or 1915 act bond issue for a development then yes you need bond council etc etc...

Do you have many British clients?

You might want to attend some council and mayoral functions, donate to their favorite charities...you know they say you have to pay to play.
