I purchased a plot of land in Woodland Park with the intention of developing a pre-fabricated design to rent out on Airbnb.

You're either going to sell at a loss and have to make the difference up at closing from your other assets or you're going to work out the debt on the property, get tenants in there and dispose of the bad memories whenever you can do so at a reasonable profit in the future.

It's like a failed investment or, I guess, a loan default, but there are reasons the investment didn't work out. 

They didn't specify specifics, but they said that they will work out a new rent schedule to account for the transfer of costs from yourself to them for heating and cooling.Incidently, they were trying out these new window heat pumps that look like a horseshoe. 

How did everything workout?

I prescreen over the phone before we meet and you get to see the home so I weed out a lot of people before we even meet but there have been a few families I really liked and was routing for that did not work out. 

I 100% see where one would think such, but, for most part it doesn't work out that way. 

After a while I think you'll start to get an idea whether it's going to work out or not.

Has anyone used this method to to sell the house at profit?
