I am wondering how today's Amazon announcement of their HQ2 in Long Island city and Northern Virginia will affect real estate market in those areas. 

Some is land, some is my Dad's home, and a few other single family homes we are flipping.

Initially I was looking in a select few areas in Rhode Island because RI Housing offers down payment assistance if you buy in said areas.

Then you get a foreign trust account with a bridge trust and when the trigger is engaged by a pre-established threat then the domestic trust moves all assets into the Cook island trust which does not recognize US courts or judgments.

A friend and a battle buddy of mine (still on the island) is a realtor and actively invests in the Oahu market. 

Would it be preferable to maybe place a big piece of art on the mantel, fresh flowers on the island?

Update: I got in touch with the code enforcement agency and they said that the property is obviously uninhabitable.
