New to BP from Long Island NY.

Hello BP! I'm Erik a 39 year old small business owner (home improvements) from Long Island NY. Patiently waiting to close on the sale of my first flip. Somewhere along the way I found BP and have been consumed by podcasts and webinars. I've always wanted to invest in real estate but after 2 personal home purchases that were a loss, I let that idea go. Now after reading and some life experiences I realize where I went wrong and in ready to try this again. My goals are to flip at least 2 more and then after that I'll start holding on to those properties that will cash flow nicely. My future portfolio will be about 5-10 single or multi family residences. And will continue to flip for profit as actual income. Worst part w this first deal is waiting for it to close so my money is not tied up!
