Trying to learn more and meet like-minded people and even partner up in the Baltimore/Towson/Harford County areas of Maryland... tougher to network when COVID has put a damper on in-person meet-ups.

Laminate looks a little more like real wood and tends to be tougher against scratches.

We targeted C class properties that needed some work to get started.  3-4 years ago (when we were buying heavily) this took on average about $30,000 to close on a deal, and then we would spend maybe $5,000 polishing up the place (new carpet or tile), and maybe some new paint.Today it’s probably tougher to find that deal.  

I didn't know the tenants were in a tougher spot due to age though.  

Their peak seasons tend to be really short, you can great huge margins during the time, but the rest of the year it's tougher.  

I know commercial is a lot tougher to screen for than residential.

My only reservation is that turn key is tougher to make work in Indianapolis these days. 

It's being onsite that is tougher.

Older buildings sometimes face tougher underwriting than newer ones and can only get certain covearge unless certain updates are made.

We can still get some good deal in Texas, but it is getting tougher each day.
