More like a yellow flag...There's no problem with a property that money can't solve (a lower price, etc) :)That being said, depending on what your strengths are, taking on big problems for your first property (when you don't have a full team in place yet) may be an even bigger challenge than it may seem.

As far as strength, you just dont have enough shoring on the way up the stairs maybe. a 16' stair requires more than a stringer attached at the top and bottom to be structurally sound.

What I found was the builder was lazy and didn't put any of the rebar on chairs when they poured the slab.... the rebar was resting under the slab and didn't provide any tensile strength for the rebar.
