If I were to do a sandwich lease option, I would tell the realtor that 'my company would guarantee the rent payments and be responsible for the maintenance/repairs', since WE would be the tenant/buyer signed with the Seller ??

The old house had been 'expanded' considerably over the years so it was not odd to find an outside wall also sandwiched between layers of paneling & drywall.Now imagine trying to put in new electrical runs & outlet/switch boxes.
