NAR is changing this in the spring so you will be able to join the MLS of your choice regardless of where your broker is a member.

NAR has this thing called "compliance" when we agents help our clients rent, buy or sell.

. : )I equate those types of services to what NAR third party affiliates sell to newly licensed agents on the residential side.All the do dads and thingies in the world are sold to these people trying to take every last cent they have.

I was recently reading an article from NAR that stated there was nothing wrong with providing the information on offers to other parties.

About $400 year for NAR dues, about $350 a year for MLS access, a few hundred every other year for CE and license renewal, and I think that's about it for the "standard fees".

So I feel like I can add value to a relationship that I have.I am with the NAR so I am also looking to further my real estate education so I am determined to be skilled at what I do.

What's more interesting is I found some related research online by the NAR and other organizations that suggest I would be a great buyers agent. 

The NAR economist predicted that this trend will continue for the relatively near future.

I've never seen an NAR lobbying campaign for the promotion of licensing laws.
