The comment about the investor making all that money ($30k) while you need to make up all of your costs and the investor 'just drives around and talks on the phone which isn't that hard' (i didn't go back and copy it exactly) misses the part where the investor is also risking quite a bit of his own capital (or his other investor's capital, thus their money and his reputation) on a deal that hopefully makes him a good buck.
