I tell them it's a full time job, housing prices have doubled, and competition is so high that I've seen houses come onto the market 2 years ago, rent for 2 years, now they're trying to sell and ditch them. 

Plus the tenant-friendly legal environment, I thought ditching NY was a pretty great idea?

Or maybe just become a realtor and ditch the whole idea of trying to fix the homes or build the homes myself?

I'm ditching the dirt and merging with a second practice that has more ops.

I just need a bank that can help me do the deal and provide me with the appraisal upon completion instead of holding it hostage until closing so that I may use it for last ditch negotiations with the seller if the price is still too high.  

If they say yes, then I think maybe they ditched an old account because of a bad review.

That said....I'm not going to jump right in by ditching my W-2 and waiting 6 months for my first closing.  

Maybe the answer is to ditch the property manager and self-manage.

Last ditch effort you can always rent yours out if you don't get sale price,But didn't you realize when you bought that the neighbor's house was vacant..
