There are differences, however; a contractor working with a PM is likely only going to see a few, full blown remodels a year, whereas a flipper is going to live and breath that kind of work.

I would love to say that this is wrong, but in reality, if the bank held their breath and did nothing everytime a borrower said they wanted to do a short sale, it would be counterproductive for the bank.
