I was born and raised in Ohio. I then attended Purdue University and received a degree in Chemical Engineering. During my 20 years in the workforce, I was an engineer and engineering manager in the semiconductor industry. I am grateful for the experiences, knowledge gain and general wild/interesting ride.

However I have recently left this industry to 'catch my breath'. Fortunately the real estate investments (buy and hold) that my wife and I have made allow me to take some time off.

We currently have 8 long term tenants and a short term vacation rental property.  I would like to continue to increase our investments in real estate by adding another 6-10 long term rental properties. I also want to learn more about commercial real estate (and then decide if it is a good investment for us).
