However I realized that they no longer have the criminal backgrounding screening feature available.

If you want to FSBO, you need some background or experience IMHO.

A little background information in case it's important: there are 3 partners holding equal ownership in the LLC, only one of us lives in MI.

You can use your accounting background as leverage for a win-win relationship with a local investor for sure.

I usually use avail.co or Zillow, but He does not have a SSN so he cannot complete my application for a background check.

I primarily handle the marketing and rates, as marketing and hotel management are part of my background.  

I do not believe they do personal background checks though.The difference is in the designations. 

I have a legal background and am more assertive and the Tenants go through me for requests.

I also have some kind of language about that the house rental is not a guarantee, until the background check is completed.
