It's a business, if you find some is abusing it financially (not paying rent) or physically (damages),, you push the envelope and write up a lease violation and if necessary evict.. doing regular inspections let's you bill tenant for undue damages when they occur.. and yet still have the deposit left to help when they leave.If you haven't yet,, download copy of the landlord tenant laws for your state..

Namely, the person who is being foreclosed on gave up ownership of the house several years ago via quitclaim to another person that does not appear to be a family member.I'm assuming this triggered the due on sale clause for the bank, even though that took years to actually occur.

It seems by the same logic that in theory and by the same logic that the note investor should also be insured against such a loss if they held the note BEFORE such a flood occurred as well ... that is why banks force place flood insurance if it lapses on properties in a flood zone, right?
