The political, business and tax situation is very unfavorable in the "Socialists Republic of California".They are not moving to invest there.

The problem with these media outlets is that according to them our republic is on the verge of implosion, the world is coming to an end, the president is the greatest threat to our democracy, blah, blah, blah.Fact is our country is in the midst of a robust recovery led by housing.

My county where I have a home (Pinal county) was 21.6%.This was an interesting article and is available at Arizona Republic newspaper.

I do check the title report....but escrow/title companies (Chicago, First American, Old Republic, etc...) fund tons of mortgage loans everyday and if the escrow instructions say for my lien to be in 1st position or it doesn't fund, I would think this would happen.  

For instance, we tithe as a corporation (10% of business profits) and use that $ to  build several houses per year in the Dominican Republic and Mexico.
