Hi Ryan,Typically construction financing isn't based on your taxable income and rather more contingent on your experience, FICO and the deal itself.

I don't know what the issue is/was, but I think a lot of customers want to play games and he probably did his best to keep them on the straight and narrow. 

Then make your decision based on information.  

Most hard money lenders base their terms on the deal’s equity and your experience, so with a solid flip track record like yours, you should be able to find better leverage — especially if the deal has a strong ARV.What's the ARV on the property?

It's a 3 restaurant package in West Virginia (where we already have a base) and includes 1 piece of real estate.

I never thought about maybe they are assessing it based on wrong fundamentals such as you said.

There are too many factors to consider to just provide base rates for what you're asking.
