After doing some internet research on jurisdictions, etc, I feel like I have a grasp on some basic "rules": -incorporate through a law firm (for client confidentiality) -incorporate in a anonymity haven, and then open up subsidiaries in the state where you operate The things I'm not clear on are are how are the mundane (and one large) business operations functions handled, such as: -who signs a property lease or mortgage paperwork?

There is plenty of information on BP and elsewhere which will definitely help you.When you feel like you're at a place where you have fully grasped the idea on the Wholesaling process; I would suggest establishing a Strong brand of yourself and your business (with marketing, social media, websites, yellow letters etc), and setting up a company (LLC).

They are just discovering the beauty of STRs and say they will start using them every time they travel now that they know about them.Of course, due to the economy, there may be a dip in numbers for those that are not well run/managed.Agreed, other factors for why some STR's will take a hit, as well.There is a lot of understandable frustration right now for folks that are: 1) Failing now, even though they did great before on that particular STR. 2) Failing now with their brand new STR, even though they heard from a lot of people that STR's are killing it.Surprisingly, what a lot of people don't seem to grasp is that like most businesses the STR market is a macro niche, made up of countless niche models.
