As an investor and enrolled agent I always refer to IRS Publication 946 which sets the procedures for figuring depreciation.

I enrolled in Elite Legacy Education for a RE course and paid $26.5k total - some might say that's stupid but we all find our way and I'm thoroughly enjoying/learning from the course, and it's providing me an excellent foundation and knowledge base to work off of.
