So first thing's first, speak with a good lawyer about creating a post-nuptial agreement regarding each other's assets that are considered "shared" and those that will go to your children.

Our own lawyer who led the 1031 exchange was very stingy with information.My husband and I did our very first reverse 1031 exchange, closing it out 6 months ago.
